Core 4 Ginger Gold apples, leaving a little core intact to create a well in each apple Using an apple peeler‚ peel the skin off of each apple Mix 3 Tbsp dark-brown sugar and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon‚ sprinkle over apples Place a cinnamon stick in the center of each apple In a saucepan, melt 1/2 cup apple or current jelly with 1 cup cider Drizzle over apples Bake at 325 degrees for approx. 30 minutes Serve with caramel ice cream Recipe courtesy of www.pepinheights.com |
