Raw Apple Cake
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour milk (1 cup milk and 2 Tbsp vinegar)
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups chopped apples

Mix brown sugar, white sugar, and shortening‚ and then add eggs and sour milk
In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda
Mix two bowls together
Add apples and mix
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes

Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Sprinkle topping over cake
